ALABAMA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

DON’T LET THE MOMENTS SLIP BY UNRECORDED.

Life moves fast and it’s full of tiny, ordinary moments that turn out to be the most meaningful. Photographs freeze time. They let you revisit the way your baby looked at you with sleepy eyes, how your partner smiled at you when your love was brand new, or the warmth in your grandparent’s face that you never want to forget. One day, your kids will want to see who you were when it all began with the messy hair, wild love, chasing dreams. One day, your heart will need to see a memory again. You don’t get time back… but you can keep the pieces of it.

So let’s press pause on right now—and take the pictures

HEY! HEY!

I’m Susan Weathington, the fiery red-head behind the camera at S. Weathington Photography, LLC.

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Alabama and I love to travel.  I have been following my passion for photography for over 14 years and have photographed over 300 weddings!!! I absolutely love my couples and am passionate about memorializing those fleeting moments for my them to have forever.

I would love for you to have a look around and see what you think.  If you think we’d be a good fit, get in contact with me!

A SAVANNAH DREAM WEDDING??

A couple sharing a kiss while sitting in a bathtub, with the woman holding a guitar. The woman is wearing a white dress and high heels, and the man is in a suit. Their reflection is visible in a mirror behind them.

I’m not here to choreograph a performance, I’m here to witness the real stuff. The laughs that come out of nowhere, the way you reach for each other’s hand without thinking, the spontaneous games of tag or twirls in the sunlight, you being who you are. I don’t need perfection. I need presence.

You don’t have to act for the camera, just show up as yourselves, and I’ll take care of the rest. My job is to quietly document the in-between moments, the magic you didn’t even realize was happening.
