THE S. WEATHINGTON EXPERIENCE

YOU HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER.

But you get a wedding-day wing woman. I am an experienced wedding photographer who knows how to make your wedding day run smoothly, keeps you comfortable in front of the camera, and creates photographs that feel like your actual life.

I have been capturing weddings for over 12 years, and I have learned that the best wedding photographs do not happen because everyone stood perfectly still and smiled at the camera. They happen when people are comfortable, when the timeline isn’t falling apart, when you are not worried about what comes next, when you actually enjoy your day.

A joyful bride and groom are sharing a happy, intimate moment inside a building, with the groom in a black suit and the bride in a white wedding dress, near a window and a brick wall.

BEFORE THE WEDDING

We talk. I want to know what matters most to you. I want to know your people, your priorities and the things you absolutely want photographed. Then I build a custom timeline that actually makes sense for you.

DURING THE WEDDING

This is where experience really matters. Things happen, people run late, the timeline changes, and all of that is okay. I am there to fix these issues before you even know about them.

DURING PORTRAITS

I am going to direct and move you, a lot. We will not be spending 45 minutes standing in one spot. We will find beautiful pockets of light, hidden corners full of warmth, and those special places that made you choose the venue. I will give you direction when you need it and let you be yourselves when you don’t need it.

AFTER THE WEDDING

You will receive your sneak peek gallery as soon as possible. I never like to rush the editing process, so I do not set a time frame for this. Around 6 weeks after your wedding you will receive your full gallery with beautifully edited, true to life moments you want to remember, always.
