About the Barn…
The Barn at Bennett Flats property boasts a beautiful age-old 12,000 square foot barn overlooking 300 acres of scenic river bottom that borders the Tallapoosa River. The Barn has been in the Bennett/Miles families for over 70 years. With its rich history, amazing views, and gorgeous original barn wood, this is a venue that makes a lasting impression. Looking for an open, rustic feel without the heat and cold? This barn wedding venue has central heating and AC! It can easily accommodate indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies, receptions, Christmas parties, reunions, showers, birthday parties, proms, formals, etc. for as many as 400 guests. They have a prep area for caterers to use, as well as our own tables, chairs, linens, arbor, 15 foot farm table, water troughs, and Bluetooth surround sound speaker system.
The Barn is situated equidistant between Atlanta and Birmingham, and within a convenient 12 minute hop to a large selection of hotels in Oxford, Alabama. However, our Barn House (within walking distance of the venue) can be rented for your entire wedding weekend! It hosts a beautiful bridal suite, honeymoon suite, an amazing state of the art kitchen and can sleep 10-12 guests! Our newly added Groomsmen Cabin is located about six minutes from the wedding venue in a woodsy setting where the groom and his groomsmen can relax and enjoy their wedding weekend.
