The Michael Wedding Barn
The Michael Wedding Barn is a family-owned wedding and event venue located in Anniston, Alabama. Romance, rustic charm and modern amenities abound at The Michael. Your dream wedding awaits as you appear beyond the lake, making your arrival in The Michael's own Clydesdale-drawn carriage - a wedding entrance that your guests will remember for years to come. This one-of-a-kind event destination is centrally located on 100 acres and includes two event barns, an available four-bedroom guest house, and four cabins nestled deep in the woods.
The Michael Barn is the perfect combination of rustic and glam. It’s the largest barn and can be available for many types of events. It includes a sound system as well as a video projector and screen. The Michael also has space for a bar! A commercial size refrigerator and ice machine are also available.
The Rock Barn was the original barn built on the property and is perfect for receptions with outdoor seating and lights as well as a space for your first dance! The second floor (the Loft) provides a space for your bridal party to get ready before your big day! The Loft (above The Rock Barn) is the perfect place for your Bridal party to get ready! Two bedrooms, one bathroom, washer and dryer, and a small kitchen with a large living room are all available. The living room opens out onto a deck that looks out the back pasture of the property. Like many other locations on our property, this space can also be used for youth events, parties, overnight stay, and more!
Something not many people know about is our four rustic cabins at The Michael! They’re the idea for a perfect getaway cabin for the weekend, a weekend retreat, or they’re available as part of your wedding package! Each cabin has two queen beds (one bedroom + one loft), a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, and coffee bar, a comfy lounge area and a full bathroom! One of the most popular attractions at The Michael Wedding Barn is our carriage drawn by one of our beautiful Clydesdale horses. Ride up to your wedding in our horse-down carriage and it will be a moment you and your guests won’t forget! It makes for beautiful pictures and a wonderful experience that you and your guests will love! The horse and carriage are also available for other events!
