I am excited to share some of my favorite venues with you and I hope this helps you along with your planning!

First Look vs. Traditional

Are you struggling to decide whether to do a first look or wait till the ceremony to see each other for the first time?  It’s the question I get asked the most often.  Although I do have an opinion, the decision needs to be made between you and your partner and what works best for you.  There are definitely advantages to both so let’s get into it!

Mallard Oaks Farm is a beautiful facility with includes the barn which is the fabulous place to have an indoor ceremony, the iconic oak tree, perfect for the dramatic outdoor ceremony, the lawn which has a wonderful view, and the pavilion which is a great covered ceremony option which still includes the amazing view. 

The Michael Wedding Barn is a family-owned wedding and event venue located in Anniston, Alabama. Romance, rustic charm and modern amenities abound at The Michael. Your dream wedding awaits as you appear beyond the lake, making your arrival in The Michael's own Clydesdale-drawn carriage - a wedding entrance that your guests will remember for years to come.  This one-of-a-kind event destination is centrally located on 100 acres and includes two event barns, an available four-bedroom guest house, and four cabins nestled deep in the woods.

Pheasant Cove at Brookside is a new venue in Central Alabama with sixty acres of beautiful trees, a flowing brook, and ponds tucked behind grand hedges waiting to be discovered.  This venue features whimsical willows, a flowing brook, croquet court, cobblestone paths, and European charm.

Prayer Rock is a stunning bluff wedding venue overlooking the vast valley views below.

Ridge Pointe is located in tranquil Alpine, Alabama. Atop their vast 40-acre property stands the elegant yet charming venue, with dedicated areas for both receptions and ceremonies.
